"Really enjoyable stay - although Nice sea front seems to be the Cote d'Azur's answer to Bournmouth! The old town near the harbour is fantastic though with a mixture of stylish little shops, tourist traps, restaurants and a great atmosphere." (107370353)
Lovely location (on the seafront/Promneade des Anglais), nearby convenient (if expensive - 25 euros per 24 hours) secure parking. Very handsome hotel with a large comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff. Nice patio - perfect for drinking iced Cointreau and smoking Gitanes after dinner and a walk along the promenade.
In May (not sure if this applies the rest of the year)I felt pretty young in comparison to the rest of the guests (and I must be close to 45!)- which is a nice feeling these days!
