    the staff were very helpful and friendly, good location and near to the Eurostar station. The room was clean and bedding was excellent

    The weather was very hot so we had to keep the windows open as it was opposite the train station it was very noisy at night. The room was a little small it was a tight squeeze between the end of thethe bed and the dressing table, 2 people getting changed was a lttle difficult. The shower was ecellent but you had to hold the showerhead as it wasn't fixed to the wall.

    "Ok yes, some aspect of it are a little dated. But for what I wanted it for, it was perfect. It's right next to the station. It literally took me longer to get from the station door to the platform than it did the hotel to the station door. One thing that stood out for me was of how clean it was. I would go back."     Exceptionally clean, Cosy, good shower, cheap, what more do you want.

    It would have been nice if one of the TV stations could have spoken English. I really hate to say something negative about a place but it would be unfair to anyone reading this if I didn't mention this. There is a constant hum all night long if you are lucky enough to be placed in a back room. I think it might be an AC system or something like that. Fortunately I passed out straight away after closing my eyes. But this could be an issue for some people. I hope that doesn't put anybody off because I would definitly go back.

    "we had a few language barriers on the desk on our arrival with our french not being too hot although the next day we were met by a lovely young fella who made us extremely welcome to the tune of lending us 100 euros on the sunday until the bureau de change opened which we felt to be a kind and extremely appreciated gesture coming from his own pocket faith restored" (97431962)

    the view from our window was very pleasent over looking the lille de gard especailly at night with the fountains lit up

    the accomadation did seem a little bit out dated and sparse although the bedding and wc were clean and acceptable

    The hotel is in an excellent central location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean.
