  "I have stayed at this hotel on several previous occasions with my wife but we have always requested a specific room and we therefore know what it is like and have always been extremely pleased with it. This time as I was travelling alone I booked a budget room and was a bit disappointed.The bedroom was basic and a bit old fashioned but for the price paid this was fair enough.The bathroom let the hotel down. The grouting on the tiles had gone black in places and there were stains on the bath itself. Usually I like to have a soak but these put me off to the extent that I only took showers.It is such a shame that for the sake of a few hours maintenance the shine was taken off was was an extremely enjoyable stay."   Staff friendly and very helpful.Excellent location.

  Bathroom needed maintenance and redecoration.Bedroom was a bit old fashioned.
