  "This is genuine curiosity of a hotel, it is a very old building in some state of decay and decorated in eccentric style but a refreshing change from the standardised formula of chain hotels. We enjoyed it for the unique feel of an overnight stay in the very heart of the fortified town" (107651799)

  Friendly reception English speaker. Anxious to please. Happy to change our room for one with a bath at our request. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with lovely cotton sheets and pillows.

  Quite extraordinary hotel. So much to see - and not a straight line in the building. Nothing like a run-of-the-mill chain hotel, this hotelm is a unique experience

  "wanted a charming historic hotel , got a lesson in how to neglect and run a hotel into the ground such a shame could be a wonderful boutique hotel, not so much shabby chic just shabby" (108208926)

  Historic hotel with a lovely courtyard, and excentric decor in the bar and dining rooms

  the hotel is generally in a poor state of repair and shagpile carpet in the bath room does not help, peeling wallpaper rusting garden furniture on balcony,and a crap breakfast consisting of coffee and one stale croisant for £15 each is a joke.

  tranquilite

  la chasse d'eau presentee une fuite importante les robinets d'acces etaient bloques et l'eau coule bruyamment toute la nuit / la chambre devrait etre plus aeree

  "ok for a few days, not for longer stay i can understand why there were no pictures of the rooms on the website. " (107122636)

  the warm en friendly reception good restaurant near to the hotel charming old building fresh sheats

  wall paper coming from the wall, gray curtains (used to be white in an other life), carpets very poorly, and bad matresses. an old building has nothing to do with neglected interior.
