    Close to the airport.

    Nothing in the are. Far from train station. Bad "italy" restaurant - food was not adequate to the price.

    very helpful and friendly staff, nice room

    room was to hot and no instructions on how to work heater, some confusion on shuttle and how to pay for it even though I emailed for information

    I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends - if they have to saty one night before getting out of Frankfurt airport

    Breakfast Buffet could be improved with the choices offered.......

    Very nice restaurant associated with hotel.

    We stayed overnight before the return leg of our trip.We had a rental car and were on the airport grounds (as it turns out very near the hotel) but when we called the hotel, the desk clerk was unable to give us instructions as to how to drive there. So we wound up returning the car early and taking the hotel shuttle, which took a long time picking us up. Turns out the hotel is near where we were when we called to ask for instructions. Not an easy place to find.

    "Would do it again although nothing to do where this hotel is located. I walked around the neighborhood which I enjoy doing but would have also enjoyed an evening of local culture a bit." (108673841)

    Room was clean, staff spoke very good english and was expecting me. Driver of the shuttle found me easily and was friendly in manner and appearence.

    very helpful and courteous staff, quiet, free and reasonably good breakfast buffet, cheap (2 euro) airport shuttle, which runs almost around the clock

    single bed and blanket are a bit small (but the pillow is nice)

    Zimmer war extrem kalt und Heizung funktionierte nicht. Das bei Messerate ist einfach nicht OK.

    Pick up drivers very curteous and fast. Had a problem with my room key and hotel staff took care of it right away. Good Breakfast - rooms clean and comfortable

    Could not understand the desk staff when I called for a pick up, card key was a problem for me (twice), hard boiled eggs were not cooked hard - they were very runny, ran out of buns for breakfast.

    The Shattle bus was good

    The Beds were too small. In particular, the lady at reception promised us a big Double bad, but when we arrived we were greeted by two single beds. The Lady who worked on Sunday 4 January 2009 between 16H30 and 18H45 was cruel and rude. We phoned her from the Airport about the Sandals that were left in Room 212. She told us that there was no way that the Bus Driver could bring them to the Airport. We then requested her, if a guest phoned from the Airport for a pick-up is it not possible to arrange that the driver could come with the Sandals? The answer was a rude no. I then had to use a train with a changeover in freezing temperatures and walking from the Station to the hotel for about 40 minutes to fetch the Sandals. When I was about to leave the Hotel, I asked her if it was not possible for the driver to give me a lift to the Airport, the answer was a cruel no. This reminded me of Apartheid years in South Africa

    This is the second time that I and my travel companions have stayed at The Albatros Hotel as our night before flight departure from Frankfurt Airport. It is a very nice and competitively price small hotel. I will use it again and again.

    One of the main reasons that I have used The Albatros is because of the free airport shuttle service. Upon making arrangements for our following morning departure with their shuttle, there was not enough room for the four of us to ride to the airport, as the shuttle was full. We had to pay for a taxi ride and as I mentioned that was one of the primary reasons for our choosing Albatros. Perhaps a seond van should be purchased or at least offer to pay half of the taxi !

    Close to Airport. Good continental style Buffet breakfast

    Reception could not find my booking, then checked me in for 1 night instead of 2, then did separate bills, when I returned home I have found out that I have two lots of credit card fees . No aircon! Germany is hot in July and August! Fans are provided but not sufficient plugs in the rooms. Single rooms on fourth floor are very basic

    Internet booking possible

    When I accidentally cancelled the reservation I immediately called the reception where I insisted it was an error and gave my card details again. My re-booking was confirmed. However, when my son showed up to check in he was told the room had been cancelled ! It 's only through sheer luck that he did not have to start looking for another hotel late in the evening (there was one room left which he could have). This is unacceptable .

    The on-site restaurant was represented as the hotel restaurant. However, when my bill arrived, I was told it was separate, that I could not write my room number on the restaurant bill to pay room and meal together, that their credit card machine was broken, and that I would have to pay cash. I felt as if I had been robbed, literally. It was the last night before I would fly home. I had the cash with me but what if I hadn't or had refused to pay cash? That was really tacky, not to say at the beginning that meals were cash only! Bad.
