The alarm went off at 2 am...apparently, the last tenant forgot to cancel it!!!

"Generally, the hotel was pleasant and comfortable and a great choice in a convenient location." (108896124)
The room was comfortable, nice sized altho not large, with a bright large nice bathroom with lots of counter tops. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room attractive. It is almost across the street from the train station so very convenient and also just a short walk from the Christmas Market near the old and new castles. There seemed to be a number of eateries around the area and transportation was easy with the train station so close.
Altho the beds were comfortable, I personally always dislike the comforter and am never comfortable under them, frequently removing the thing from the cover as I don't remember to ask for blankets on check in! But it is the norm in Europe and even in the USA these days. I usually have to open the window which means a bit of noise. European buildings are always too hot for me!
