Gute, kleine 24-Stunden BP-Tankstelle direkt vorm Haus ========================================================== Generous Breakfast-Buffet Very friendly staff Tram station directly oppopsite, served from 05-01h (1 change from main station) Good, but small 24-hours BP gas station with shop in front of house

    "BEWARE. This is not a hotel, it is a hostel for young backpackers. The rooms are very very basic (not even a carpet, metal 'prison' style bunk beds etc.). The location isn't very good (a bus ride from anywhere you may want to be). But worst of all is the noise - drunken youths partying in the corridor all through the night." (97913979)

    The receptionist was very helpful

    The room was very basic - looked like a prison cell. The head of the shower was broken off. But worst of all was the noise. Drunken youths were making a very loud noise all through the night.

    Excelent service and attention from the Haus International Hotel Staff. They were always really friendly and willing to help with local information.

    Some noise at night after 10:00 P.M. on the backyard.

    "I was part of a group of seven male adult travellers. The check in was straight forward after a long day travelling with the staff being friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but adequate and functional and this is reflected in the price. The Haus can become noisy early evenings (seemingly with school groups) through the week but through the night and weekend is fine. Cold buffet breakfast is good. The transport links are excellent with a tram / bus service right outside the door linking to the underground system, two stops away, making the centre of Munich just minutes away. This was explained on arrival. I am mid-fifties and found this hotel ideal for my group's purpose. We didn't stay in the place much through the day as there is plenty to do and see in Munich and surrounding areas. The price is good and the location is good and as long as you remember it houses youthful people and don't mind this, you'll be fine. My fellow travellers thoroughly enjoyed their stay, especially the price and location. We have stayed in many hotels of varying quality throughout Europe." (99098458)

    The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel was ideally situated with good links to the centre of Munich via tram and underground. Breakfast was fine and, for the price, it is a good place to rest your head of an evening..as long as you don't expect too much.

    Weekdays seemed to be very noisy early evening with school groups with little supervision, it is a youth hostel after all and that is reflected in the price.

    "A very enjoyable two nights at Haus International to visit Oktoberfest. The hotel is in a good location to get around the city. The rooms are clean and tidy, and en-suite facilities very good. Would recommend and would consider using again next year." (99950954)

    Clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast, generally good facilities and location in the city.

    Getting into the rooms was confusing, no instrution on how to operate the opening system upon arrival.

    "Mi sarebbe piaciuto avere un'ulteriore conferma della prenotazione da parte dell'albergo almeno una settimana prima di partire, visto che, on line, non era richiesto un acconto da pagare subito (come accade di solito)!!Sarebbe stata indispensabile una conferma, tanto per non rischiare di arrivare a destinazione e non avere la camera riservata (come è già accaduto in altre occasioni)" (97828118)

    Very, very basic room. Okay location and okay facility.

    "The stay was excellent value for money, room was very basic but clean and all that I required with on suite shower and toilet, room was fitted out with two bunk beds, lockers, table and four chairs. Breakfast is typical continental with sufficient choice for all tastes." (99841535)

    Cost and access from the tram line.

    The lock from inside the room was not the greatest and appeared to have been damaged several times, but I was fortunate not to have to break out of my room.
