    Excellent location, staff, public area and food.

    If pressed to make any criticism, room a little stark (an armchair would have been good) and shower cubicle rather small for those with a 34" + waist

    For a short stay very good value for money. Nothing unnecessary in the room (TV, radio, phone, carpet) The green approach in everything

    No bad points. First the room was cold - the window was open and the heater was off, but I recognized that soon and closed the window and openend the heater.

    Excellent breakfast with large choice of bio products. Good location. Good beds.

    Rooms are very rough, and it is still evident that they were former offices - floors still include the space for network cables, etc. Coziness, e.g. carpets, sofas, is still missing. Reception should be open till 6 pm, but often at 5 pm it was closed. WiFi network did not work in the room, but only in breakfast room. Towels were old and the bathroom was equipped solely with the toilet paper.

    "Excellent overall." (108449067)

    THe excellence of the staff, especially the owner( I guess she is the owner) whose professionalism and demeanor were a joy. Room was a great size and we enjoyed having a couch in our particular room. Proximity to everything in Berlin we wanted to see as first-time visitors.THe breakfasts were wonderful, such good fruit and care to detail. Great ot have a restaurant for tired evenings when one just cannot walk anyplace anymore.NIce to have a lending library. We dropped a few books off there once we read them. Enjoyed the fish tank and turtles and the art made it special.

    It would have been nice to have a television available somewhere (although I didn't ask if that were possible actually). I sorely missed CNN news briefs. A little rug could have helped in the room in order to do some floor exercises. The maid missed waste basket one day and the toilet bowl a few days on our second stay which puzzled us because the first stay was perfect. We were there a total of 10 days with a two night break in between.

    Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, sodaß man als Tourist nur kurze Wege hat. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut und reichlich, nur frische Produkte.

    Hatte um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten, bekam ein lautes zur Strasse. Morgens im Frühstücksraum manchmal Chaos.

    Good service, location, pleasant environment, artistic environment, excellent rooms and breakfast and a lovely host.All in all, a great environment at reasonable prices.

    It was hard to find it on the web. I am very glad I did find it.

    "The above all sounds so negative – however if it had not been for the missing television our overall rating of MitArt would have been much better. Regaridng the 2 last quesions: As long as MitARt continues not to equip the rooms with televisions - we will not use/book MitARt. If MitArt changes that policy we will use/book MitArt again.     Bio/Öko-approach

    We were more than surprised and disappointed when we realised that the room was in fact not equipped with a television, as we consider a television as a basic utility in a normal equipped living room anno 2009 providing easy access to news updates. For the same reason we did not pay much attention on the presence of a TV when booking MitArt. Being such a normal commodity we will suggest MitArt to make it very clear under “Zimmerausstattung” that there is in fact no TV in the hotel room. Thereby avoiding other tourist to make the same mistake as we did. The lack of an “easy access to news updates” made the room feel like a prison cell in our opinion and we would have moved to another hotel if it had not been fore the fact that we had beforehand made our reservation at MitArt.

    "Berlin kann ich nicht als Behinderten-freundlich bezeichnen!" (108513867)

    Sehr freundliche und persönliche Atmosphäre. Sehr ordentlich und gepflegt. Gute Möglichkeit für kleinen Abendimbiss. Frühstück sehr gut!

    Da kein Hotel-Parkplatz zur Verfügung stand, war das Parken ein Riesenproblem für mich. Ich bin gehbehindert mit entsprechendem Schwerbehinderten-Parkausweis, der mir hier leider auch nicht half. Aus diesem Grund könnte ich dieses Hotel nicht nochmals aufsuchen - da spüre ich meine Benachteiligung als Behinderte in Berlin ganz deutlich! Ansonsten würde ich dieses Hotel weiter empfehlen trotz folgender Punkte: Leider etwas hellhörige Bauweise. Mir fehlte ein (Schreib-)Tisch auf dem Zimmer.

    Small and friendly hotel with a very good location. Affordable price and a very delicious breakfast.

    Great location; great breakfast (really good)

    rooms by the street too noisy (I couln´t sleep more than 5 a.m.); very poor cleanlines at the room but not at the rest of the hotel (when I walked barefootin the room my feet got dirty as I had walked in the street); for twice I left the towels on the floor to be changed (as the placard in the bathroom indicated) and they were hung on the pole from the floor again!!; the same with sheets

    Situation calme dans quartier intéressant et vivant - chambre sur grande cour dégagée - simplicité et qualité de l'accueil et de l'aménagement - cour plantée à disposition - petit déjeuner bio riche et délicieux à volonté -

    Eventuellement fermeture de la partie restauration à 20H. Nous aurions peut-être apprécié de diner un plus tard tranquillement dans la cour après journée de visites. Mais ce n'est pas une grand handicap pour l'hôtel - Petit problème sur barre de fixation de la douchette -

    Hotel has organic food. Very good point

    Everything else. The information on the internet regarding parking and serving of breakfast was incorrect. The rooms had no TV, fridge, minibar, shampoo, bathing soap or any other personal hygene articles normally found in hotels in this price range. The service was non existent. The person in the reception was the only one at work that day. She had to check people in and out while serving breakfast, clearing tables, and cooking the breakfast. When we arrived for breakfast, all the vacant tables (8-10) had not been cleaned, and when we asked for the clearing of a table, we were met with a hostile attitude. There was no food available, and it took a total of 45 minutes before we could sit down for breakfast.

    "A good hotel to stay when sightseeing in Berlin. It's around the corner from an underground station and a tram station, and it's walking distance to the main museums and to many restaurants in Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg. Early booker rates are a bargain." (107344923)

    Very pleasant and clean hotel, friendly and professional staff, excellent location and wonderful breakfast. Rooms are basic, but light and cheerful. Nice art on the walls too.

    L'accueil très sympatique, le petit déjeûner très copieux, avec des produits bio et des produits sans gluten pour les personnes ayant ce type de problèmes ; l'attachement de la responsable aux questions environnementales, écologiques ; la situation géographique de l'hôtel dans Berlin, la proximité des lignes de Tram, de métro (à une petite demi-heure de l'aéroport); bcp de commerce alentours, des galeries d'art, des petits endroits sympas pour dîner dîner,.... C'était mon deuxième séjour au mitArt Hotel, et j'espère qu'il y en aura d'autres !

    Das Bio-Frühstück war einsame Klasse, sogar glutenfreies Brot stand zur Verfügung.Unsere Zimmer lagen zum Hof und es war wunderbar ruhig.

    Die Flure waren ein wenig duster.

    Large, clean room; accomplished art work on walls; nice bed. Excellent breakfast. Lovely front desk service. Terrific location, in heart of Mitte district, and close to subway with easy access to other districts. Berlin's a great, haunted city. It wears its tortured history on its sleeve, but running parallel to that history is a city rich in culture and politics.

    Spare to the brink of spartan (room lighting needs to be enhanced; insufficient outlets in room, liability in an electronic age where cell phones, blackberries, camera batteries, IPods, and the like all require regular recharging.)

    L'hôtel Mit Art se situe dans un endroit très tranquille, au centre de Berlin, proche des musées et autres attraits culturels de la ville.l'Athmosphère y est très reposante,et le petit-déjeuner bio fort apprécié.
