  "The funicular and the castle were terrific and we luckily stumbled on a beer hall when we were ready for a meal and that was good too-for atmosphere, food and drink." (108629672)

  friendly staff, comfortable room, GREAT location in a delightful town.Plenty of help and advice about the sights to see.

  No bad points- we liked everything.

  "It was fine for an overnight or few days especially if one is busy touring during most of the day and is just looking for a clean place to stay." (107612523)

  The friendliness of the staff is amazing. The bedding/pillows were comfy and shower was hot. Beautiful view of the River from our window and convenient walking location to everything.

  No elevator.

  "Terriffic, great friendly reception, after we got the bags in our room, off we went, we asked the manager for a coffee shop, we have now a fully paid up membership at his coffee shop, wow, and wow! The hotel is right in the most central of places, just have good walking shoes. The staff were great and alwasy so helpful. Beds were comfy, although the foldaway bed for our son was a bit on the shakey side. fantastic view, excellant toilet facilities, breakfast was even really enjoyable, (we even got a reminder call for breakfast)! overall, you can enjoy yourself here."   it was right in the major area of the city. handy to everything you could possible want.

  climbing up to the top flight via stairs with heavy luggage for 3 people was a bit much, but considering its an old building, where would they put the stairs. but this is the only dislike we have.
