"Since we were only staying in the hotel for 1 short night we were unable to test out the amenities, restaurant etc. It is well placed with a short walk into the centre. A better handle on English by the staff would have been good to advise us of where to go, not to go etc. Only a few hours available to explore in search of beer. We found a pub with no German beer but had Newcastle Brown Ale on draught - how strange is that? Overall the hotel is very good value, clean and courteous. Booked through Active hotels, went without a hitch" (97847307)

"I was travelling with a friend and our double room was upgraded to a suite because they didn't have any one room doubles with seperate beds. No Charge for the upgrade. The staff helped us out with storage of a large instrument so we didn't have to lug it upstairs. Breakfast room was very pleasant and there was a nice spread, more than I'm accustomed to seeing in such places. The hotel is also in a great pedestrian friendly part of town. Good value." Very helpful staff, great location near the train station and center of town, very good breakfast. Free parking. This place is a good value.
