    The hotel was charming and the owners friendly and helpful

    There was a problem with the water heater when we arrived but they worked quickly and diligently to get it fixed as soon as possible.

    sehr freundliches Personal beim Frühstück. sehr schöne Lage des Hotels. Sehr schöne Aussicht Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet.

    Leider keine Duschmöglichkeit da nur Badewanne (ohne Duschvorhang oder Duschwand) zur Verfügung stand. Der Teppich im Zimmer wirkte fleckig und unhygienisch. Der erwähnte Steinway Flügel war verstimmt.

    "Great view because it's located by the old city wall. But also the least convenient location (for walking) from the train station when you have a few suitcases. I recalled other reviewers mentioned it was not so "silent" in the morning because it was loud from the kitchen. I agree, but I guess that was our wake-up call. By the way, we really love the town (Rothenburg ob der Tauber)." (108409087)

    Our room has a great view and updated bathroom. Not every room in this hotel is renovated, though. The bathroom facilities are important to me, so I was satisfied. The breakfast room is very nice, with the same great view from the windows.

    The hotel is managed by a family - it's interesting that the hostess sent her 7 or 8 year-old boy to lead us to our room. When check-in, the hostess was polite but was somewhat passive about giving information of getting around town. There was no other guests when we checked-in, but she seemed to just want to send us off. It was not a big problem, though; just found it not very helpful. When we asked for a taxi to get to train station, she could not give us a fixed rate. We were also told that because of many road construction, the taxi driver might take different route. That all implies that we could get ripped off. It's common for hotels to get a fixed rate with taxi for the guests.

    Loved the hotel, liked Wolfgang who checked us in; he was very helpful. Loved the location and view out of our room.

    Confirmation email was not received so I had to ask for it several times. Not sure why it didn't work.

    Great breakfast, fantastic views. Rooms were very well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. Receptionist very welcoming and spoke great English

    Only one - no lift, however we did get help with our bags.

    Great room; fabulous view; very nice, comfortable bed; appreciated having a tea pot in the room.

    The breakfast was too small; the glass curtain over the bathtub was difficult to keep over the tub, some water went on the floor.
