    the traffic around the hotel is very easy. you could get anywhere you want to visit. many restaurants is around there too. everything is convinient.

    some sex shop could be seen behind of the hotel building. but the people there are very kind and quiet.

    " I am a very frequent visitor to Geneva, and my daughter had an apartment within a block of the hotel 2 years ago during her summer internship in Geneva. So, I was familiar with the neighborhood from that time. It has noticeably deteriorated, a fact that was confirmed by the police when I filed the report of the break-in of our rental car. The hotel itself was not bad, but there are other places available for comparable rates that do not come with the issues raised in this review... " (107743309)

    Generally the hotel was in good order and material items were clean and not worn.

    Stairs down to lobby makes it difficult to bring luggage in... No place to stop to unload luggage from cars... No bellman service to aid with luggage... Unable to get 2 room key-cards until after first use... Very small elevators (difficult for 2 adults with luggage)... No soap initially in room amenities (maid service oversight)... Relatively small room (very little maneuvering space around bed... Scary warning in room about the absolute need to secure any and all valuables in the in-room safe, which is too small to accommodate much... Local parking difficult to locate... very expensive breakfast (at additional cost)... VERY rough part of town (our rental car was broken into with a window smashed out, and it is in the heart of the local "red-light" district with prostitutes standing around within a few meters of the hotel entry door at all hours of the day and night... They actively, but politely solicit most passing unaccompanied males)...

    "We had seen some negative reviews online that alluded to the fact it was a red light district and an 'immigrant' area. Upon arrival this was clearly a hysterical (and prejudiced?) reaction. If you are sensitive to the fact that there are some 'professional ladies' on a couple of the street corners this might not be for you. However as a family traveling with a baby we found this a non-issue. The women were unobtrusive and the area was vibrant and interesting." (107482914)

    Simple and stylish decor. Convenient to excellent bars and restaurants. Clean. Close to railway station. Polite staff.

    Good location

    Poor service, room dirty and smelly and old, the bathroom did not work, another couple were given the same room as we did, poor breakfast.

    Brilliant location in downtown Geneva,yards from the main station(which is 5 minutes by train to geneva airport).Excellent staff,ever so courteous and helpful.Comfortable double bed.

    Audible noise from street outside hotel(but World Cup matches are on in Switzerland!);no real facilities in the hotel apart from breakfast, and no room service or in -room coffee/tea making facilities, which would be expected in a 4* hotel.The in -room bar was stocked only with some water and a soft drink.

    "Nous ne sommes pas restés plus de 10 minutes dans cet hôtel, ce qui en dit long... Nous avons été trompés par la publicité mensogère du site qui vantait des qualités que nous n'avons pas pu constater sur place. Heuresement que nous avons pu trouver un hôtel plus conforme avec nos attentes... C'est la raison pour laquelle nous avons demandé un remboursement intégral du séjour." (97718925)

    Aucun point positif dans cet hôtel qui n'a d'hôtel**** que le nom.

    Notre chambre ne correspondait pas à la description du site internet, de plus une mauvaise odeur régnait dedans. L'ascenseur était hors service...

    - frayed blankets - half of the light bulbs not working on check-in - one set of towels missing during the check-in - no services directory in the room - no ventilation in the room - running out of toilet paper and having to ask for more - clearly fermented food on breakfast buffet

    "I enjoyed the stay , I had personal business as well as leisure time , so it was an important visit on my first trip to Geneve.Again the staff was your greatest asset , soothing any discomfort that the the renovation ( noise) may have caused .Convenient location and proximity to the centre-ville and price also ranked high on the experience ."     "The hotel was very nice, the breakfast excellent but it was very noisy all through the night with loud music from surrounding bars, cars revving and shouting. Surprisingly Saturday night was quiet as it all seemed to close at midnight. Although it is in a red light area we didn't feel threatened walking late at night.     "Hotel about 15 minute walk from old town and seemed to be in the centre of the red light district - lots of sex shops etc nearby. Hotel parking expensive, but secure, which was useful given the area and the distint lack of parking close by." (99685702)

    Lobby and reception area very modern and spacious, but room smaller than average.

    Decor in room was trying to be 'boutique' but the fittings were a little cheap (cheap plastic toilet seat!)

    Nice hotel in a central location - only 15 minutes on foot to the old area but still only around 20 minutes to the airport (admittedly at 5am!). Very helpful and pleasant staff. The room was good quality. Good (secure) parking - a must around here.

    It was very poorly soundproofed against the next room - they sounded like they were in our room. (General noise level was very low.) Soundproofing against the outside was fine.
