    convenient for station.excellent breakfast. good value for what is quite a smart hotel.

    Good position near station, walking distance to for main sights. Large room, good storage space.

    Quite a bit of noise from street late at night, mattress very firm.

    Clean, quiet hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Able to walk to both the airport and the main sights in Pisa from the hotel. Very close to main railway station, so going on day trips very easy.

    Very reasonably priced central hotel near to the station and a 5 minute cheap bus ride to the airport. Within 10 minutes walk of the old university area of Pisa and 15 minutes from the Leaning Tower. Good continental breakfast with generous quantities

    Air conditioning unit not working very well and very noisy. Lift far too small for family quantity of luggage

    "The hotel was easy to find even in the dark and reception on arrival was efficient. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. It would have been good to have instructions on the operation of the air conditioning as the room tended to be very stuffy and warm but at least the window opened. Breakfast proved to have plenty of choice for all tastes and the 7am start was a big plus. Getting to the train station, from the hotel, to travel to other locations was a breeze. We highly recommend a trip to Lucca and Barga. For anyone looking for a great restaurant look no further than Lo Schiaccianoci, great food, great prices and Giovanni the most wonderful host. All in all a good Italian experience" (97151244)

    The proximity to the station.

    The room was too close to the elevator as guest seemed to stay for only a couple of nights and leave very early in the morning, sometimes as early as 5am.

    "This hotel did exactly as it said on the tin. Comfortable,clean,quiet lovely buffet breakfast, close to airport, within walking distance of the Leaning Tower. Friendly staff with good english. No problem ordering us a taxi, allowing us to keep our bags in the hotel after we checked out etc. Coming to Pisa for a night or two? then this is the hotel." (97487202)

    nothing. The dressing table drawer fronts were very tired and needed replaced but this was tiny in the great scheme of things.

    "Our stay was very brief but we found the Reception Staff friendly, helpful and efficient, even at the unearthly hour of 4.45 am! The bedroom was more than adequate for our needs and the shower room clean, light and airy with toiletries and hair dryer provided as well as adequate towels. I did not find out how to operate the air- conditioning - not a problem in early April but would have required further investigation in the summer months. One minor comnplaint: for a hotel which must surely deal with a fair number of in-transit guests who have to catch very early flights, it seemed perverse to include a charge for breakfast (whether taken or not) when so many continental hotels charge separately for breakfast as taken."     "This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I find it comfortable, friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I live in Tuscany and the hotel is an ideal place to stay en route to either UK, Spain or France by air from Pisa Airport.     It is close to Pisa Centrale Railway Station and handy for the shuttle to the airport.

    "Not much to do in Pisa . Just to see the tower of Pisa then that's it. Should stay in Florence and get the train to PIsa for a day trip. Floence is busy full of atmosphere.But staying Pisa just for for one day is OK." (97699182)

    "This is a functional hotel. Its very close to the railway station - go out of the station and turn right, the hotel is on the street second left. To get back to the airport, its walkable (about 20 minutes) and will cost about Eu12 in a taxi. It takes about 25 minutes (steady amble) to get to the leaning tower through the shopping area" (97763841)

    "The man who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The man who checked us out was the complete opposite he was very rude and ignorant and spent the whole time on the phone and didnt acknowledge us at all" (97022446)

    it was very clean

    you could hear the plumbing everytime the people next door flushed the toilet and they also had the television on very loud - it was so loud it could have been in the same room
