  The hotel is ideal for a few days in Bologna and the staff are excellent.

  I have used activehoels.com on several occassions and I am extremely disappointed that the cost through this route was higher than the direct cost with the hotel. This is the first occassion I have noticed this and will give serious consideration to using activehotels.com in the future, and will attempt to book direct or use other online agencies in the future.

  "The apartment was practically new and very much nicer than I had expected. The bath was very nice and well-laid out. The glass blocks in the wall, though, did not allow for complete privacy of the person in the bathroom since there were unobscured areas in the blocks. The breakfast provided was quite generous and the attendant at breakfast was quite friendly and helpful. The hotel description left me with the impression that parking was likely to be available; in fact, a garage located 2 blocks (by walking, but NOT by driving due to the warren of one-way streets.) I would also have liked to know that the apartment was not really set up to allow for all 4 of us to eat/interact in a common area." (97215848)

  The location was perfect for walking to and from the train and to great restaurants and wonderful food shopping.

  The only negative was that I had intended to shop and prepare wonderful meals from the food markets of THE food city; but after arriving we discovered the sign on the stove warning against using more than one burner at a time or the stove and oven at the same time or risk blowing the breaker - not a good situation for real cooking.

  "The entire hotel staff is truly exceptional -- kind and warm, knowledgable and thoughtful, helpful and accomodating, -- in every possible way: From booking online, to parking permits, to welcoming our cat(!), to answering all kinds of questions about Bologna, to printing out directions for us when we left, to allowing us extra time to check out... They made our stay in Bologna incredibly easy and enjoyable, and left us with a great feeling about the city. The price was incredibly fair, the accomodations spotless." (97092890)

  The exceptional kindness and competence of the staff, the cleanliness of our accomodations, and the extremely reasonable price.

  No complaints whatsoever.

  "The staff are the most helpful we have seen.The breakfasts were more than adequate with a really good selection. If we could put a hotel in a bottle and take it with us on our city breaks the Paradise would be it. We would recommend the Paradise without any hesitation to anyone planning a visit to Bologna."   "This hotel is located in the centre of the town, just off the main shopping area. It was clean, well run and all that I needed really for my stay." (97294917)

  "We would be very pleased to stay at the Hotel again and are more than happy in recommending the Hotel to others. The reception was continually manned by very helpful people who made such an effort to make our stay a positive one." (99506027)

  The Hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful. There were also lots of little wonderful touches around the hotel e.g. bedtime stories

  "I would stay at this hotel again. I was on my own and felt quite comfortable and safe. The hotel is centrally located and good value for money." (97328329)

  Centrally located, convenient for station, clean, friendly, breakfast was good with a wide choice.

  Clean, neat, very nice, in great location. Parking is a little tough, but location made up for it.
