Very clean, very helpfull staff, centrel position
none, was up many stairs but so is the rest of Amalfi

"Getting to the hotel with luggage, and then climbing up 50+ stairs, could be very difficult for some guests. But having checked in, the hotel proved to be a wonderfully friendly place to stay and ideally situated right in the heart of Amalfi. The ambience was very good, and the family who own and run the hotel were very good hosts." (99840829)
Wonderful ambience, particularly having breakfast on the terrace overlooking Amalfi cathedral.
Expensive car-parking.

"I enjoyed my stay in this hotel despite the tiny room. The staff were very friendly and I was provided with juice and cake on my arrival. The room had all mod cons - air conditioning, mini bar, tv, slippers, toiletries, hairdryer and was very clean. There is more than 70 steps up to the door of the hotel so be prepared for a climb. The hotel is very centrally located just off the main square, beside the restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the beach, pier and bus stops. The bed in the room is a little shorter than the average bed so be prepared for a small bed and room if travelling alone. From the pictures on the wedsite the other rooms look alot larger. All in all, I would recommend this hotel." (99134665)
The accommodation was very central and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was nice and the facilities were excellent.
The room was the smallest room I had ever seen. My feet came out the end of the bed it was so small. I'm sure the other rooms in the hotel are bigger- so maybe I was just unlucky to be a solo traveller.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, close to centre.
Unfortunately no bar or evening meals. Be prepared for the STEPS!!!!
