  "This hotel was pretty bad. It's a very modern building, but it is already falling apart. The noise insulation in our room seemed to be non-existent. The desk staff (apparently just one man, to be fair) seemed totally uninterested in his job, and quickly got surly when we had problems with the equipment in our room. The hotel caters to large tours making one-night stops; it may be adequate for that purpose, but that's about it. If you are planning to spend any time in Selinunte, I'd suggest you try the Hotel Alceste a block away; at least it looked a bit more convincing." (99520642)

  The breakfast room overlooked the most impressive temple in Selinunte, and our room had a nice balcony.

  Air conditioning is controlled centrally, and kept at fairly high temperaure. The room safe did not work, and the 1-man staff could not have cared less. Room noise level was high.
