    "This is a beautiful place to stop, enjoy the sites and have a nice dinner, nothing more. The gentleman at the front desk of the hotel does not care for Americans. It was obvious as we sat and watched his kind interactions with other hotel guests who spoke Italian and his obvious frustration in dealing with us. It was disappointing to say the least.     Beautiful setting, great evening dining with a friendly restaurant staff.

    Rude gentleman at the front desk, no spa services available for 2 days, though the couple checking in behind us was able to make a reservation. I had requested 2 single beds and a non-smoking room. I was given a king bed, smoking room. When we were taken to our room, the laundry and cleaning cart filled the hallway. After entering our room, we found multiple bugs in the room. The taxi arranged by the front desk to "The Mall" cost 100 euro, for a short round trip! If you asked him for any help, he acted as if he was being put out. He made it obvious that he did not care for us to be there though we never complained about the room and only asked for spa services, when we were told no spa time was available we then asked for a ride to the mall. Our check out was just as difficult as his computer was not working and he had to write our receipt. The taxi cab driver (a local who spoke English) who kindly waited for the transaction to finish told us this happens all the time and everyone leaves complaining of the poor service!! I Wish I would have known this sooner!

    during the 3 nights we had 2 weddings ... to have a relaxing break it could be better ! (we had to go in town to get the dinner , impossible to get a table in a quite space )

    beautifull building with sensationell poolarea! the staff was friendly. really very nice garden quite location.

    the night-receptionist spoke only italian. restaurant and bar closed latest at 11 pm. during our stay, there was a verrry loud wedding party till 4 or 5 in the morning.

    Sehr schöne Lage der Immobilie. Gute und geschmackvolle Küche. Das Bedienungspersonal im Restaurantbereich war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Zentrale Lage in der Toscana und kurze Wege zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

    Der Hotel check-in war eines 4 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig. Nachdem der ausgesprochen unfreundliche Herr im Empfang die Schlüsselübergabe hinter sich gebracht hatte, schaute er mir rauchend zu wie ich aus unserem Fahrzeug die Koffer auf das Zimmer schaffte und fragte dann ob er mir helfen könne. Die gesamte Hotelwäsche(Bettwäsche/Handtücher)wird mit Essig gespült und verbreitet somit einen allgegenwärtigen unangenehmen Geruch. Da die Speisekarte sehr eingeschränkt ist, hat man nach sieben oder acht Tagen keine Probleme bei der Menüauswahl, da man bereits "Alles" kennt. Achtung Fahrer von schwarzen Fahrzeugen, beim Parken auf dem dafür vorgesehenen Parkplatz. In den frühen Morgenstunden wässert eine Beregnungsanlage den Rasen und die Olivenbäume sowie die Fahrzeuge der Gäste mit anscheinend sehr kalk-haltigem Wasser. Die dann aufgehende Sonne brennt die Wasser- bzw. Kalkflecken derart in den Lack, dass nach Rückkehr aus dem Urlaub ein Profi mit der Instandsetzung beauftragt werden muss.

    Posto incantevole dal punto di vista paesaggistico. Gentile il personale della location. Camera molto spaziosa e molto bella. Ideale per coppie giovani in cerca di weekend romantici in cui farsi coccolare nel centro benessere.

    Prezzi non proprio alla portata di tutti. Lontananza da Firenze che dista circa 40 minuti.

    beautiful surroundings , views , building. Friendly staff, smoothly organised- feeling of luxury and well being. Excellent location.

    menu same every night...sometimes quality excellent , sometimes( even on the same dish), less than excellent. Breakfast coffee very disappointing...served from an urn- is this really necessary or appropriate ?

    gli spazi esterni sono belli.

    il viaggio è cominciato con il ricevere una stanza davvero pessima, assolutamente senza la vista che veniva descritta. le incrostazioni della vasca idromassaggio mi fanno chiedere a chi mai andrebbe di farlo...! in più abbiamo trovato un rasoio usa e getta e capelli altrui sempre nella vasca.Le camere non sono assolutamente insonorizzato e si sente tutto, ma proprio tutto, quello che dicono o fanno gli altri sia dentro che fuori all'aperto. L'albergo è carino ma tutto il resto lascia molto a desiderare!

    Slechte informatie, zwembaden waren niet verwarmd, informatie van Booking niet verwerkt. We hadden half pension geboekt en dit was niet bekend bij het restaurant. We hadden Turks stoombad geboekt en werden verzocht de ruimte te verlaten omdat iemand anders ook had geboekt. Het was een zootje en je voelt je als gast niet echt welkom.

    Il ristorante non è all'altezza dell'albergo. Mangiare una tagliata appena sulla sufficienza in Toscana mi sembra incredibile, il contorno della sera precedente riscaldato al microonde anche.

    The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

    It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and it would be better to have free internet access - using the internet is very expensive.

    "A very new hotel in an old villa renovated to excellent level of confort; it is situated in magnificent countryside with beautiful views. The staff are very helpful and speak perfect english. The hotel is within a short driving distance to the railstation where you can catch a train to Florence (on the line to Roma) and therefore combine a town and country holiday.
