  "The best possible: I would look forward to visit again." (108281295)

  Hotel staff were most helpful to us as Americans who do not speak Italian and had never visited Sorrento before. The front desk people were fabulous. The gardens and general setting were beautifully maintained.

  Bath towels were more like hand towels. Too thin to absorb much water.

  "Horrible! We were told we were on the first floor and to take the lift there - but then we climbed 3 more flights of stairs to our room (in an annex of the hotel) where there was no hot water, no airconditioning, no shower curtain, and when we asked to switch rooms they tried to give us a room with bunk beds! NEVER AGAIN!!!" (107912380)

  Location good

  No air conditioning, no hot water, & no lift for a 4th floor accomodation.

  "While the staff and location were excellent, the room and facilities weren't. " (108067719)

  The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Also, the location is perfect with shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to the train station and boats for day trips.

  The room was big enough but not very comfortable or attractive. The bathroom was the real issue, it smelled and the shower opening was very small, making it uncomfortable to get in and out.

  "Pretty much as expected, a small room but fine for somewhere to sleep and wash. Not sure it should be 3 star rated though, quite pricey (though maybe that is to be expected in Sorrento)." (97693376)

  Staff mainly helpful & friendly. Good location. Cleaning and linen change done daily.

  The hotel could generally do with having some money spent on maintenance and repairs and new fixtures and fittings. Public areas ok but rooms seemed a little neglected. Would have been nice to have a toaster in the breakfast room.

  "The backdoor is the easiest entrance but it is hard to find on Corso Italia. Look out for a gelateria cart parked outside the door of a cafe between the station and Piazza Tasso, the hotel is next to it. If you are carrying your luggage the front door entrance seems miles away." (97497303)

  Location was just next to Piaza Tazzo. Friendly and efficient staff
