  "The hotel room was pretty and the area tranquil. I would have, however, expected more amenities for the price and hotel category." (107470729)

  Very stylish and in a quiet location. Large bedroom and bathroom.

  The room was noisy and you could hear the movements of the room above. In the morning the bar and breakfast area was just outside the room and we could hear everything. The only things present in the bathroom apart from the towels were the little soaps and 1 shower gel (although there were two guests in the room). I would have expected more given the hotel category. Finally, the room was services every day but I noticed that the floor wasn't cleaned though.

  "We had a room at the back which was quiet. A room fronting the main road could be a bit noisier, but probably not too much, as the windows are double glazed and there are heavy shutters. But the shutters will cut out all light as well. Hotel is Bed & Breakfast only. No restaurant. One good restaurant, about 2 km away will fetch and carry you between the hotel and restaurant - all included in the cost of the meal. The other restaurants for evening meals are about 600m either way along the main road. There is a footpath all the way. Bus is about every half an hour. Venice is 30 minutes. Padua is nearer an hour. Both buses take you to the main bus station at either city, The hotel is near the Oriago railway station. I don't know how often the trains run on that line, but we never saw one!" (97650101)

  Very comfortable. Large bed. Good breakfast. Owner and wife were very helpful with information about the local area and trips to Venice and Padua. The Venice - Padua bus stops about 100 metres along the road. Continual internet broadband access available (ethernet) from the room at a reasonable 5 euro/day. Off-street private parking at the rear of the hotel.

  Shower only; no bath. Owner offers to keep your room key while you are out, but then leaves them on the reception desk for you (or anyone?) to pick up on your return!
