  "The saving grace was the staff. They were friendly and very helpful. Everyone from porter to chamber maid, room service to reception and the restaurant staff. They were all excellent." (97489023)

  It was an excellent location and a well restored historic building. The rooms were a good size and well decorated

  There was a distinct coldness about the hotel reminiscent of communist days. The lighting was subdued in the public areas and on the landings and hallways only the occasional wall lights came on as you passed a sensor. The buffet breakfast was good but dinner in the restaurant in the evening was pretentious and the quality of the meal was very poor. There were only three tables of 2 occupied and we waited 40 mins for our starter. The bedroom was large but the furnishing and decor were cold. there was limited hanging space and no drawers. The single beds were very uncomfortable. There was noise during the night from the a/c plant outside. We requested a room change which was arranged very efficiently. This was smaller and better overall but still very noisy.

  "Overall our stay was great. The breakfast was excellant and we would stay at this hotel if we were to travel to Krakow again" (97357096)

  Comfortable, elegant hotel, excellent breakfasts and excellent location for local facilities

  Being in the centre there are a number of clubs around which turn out in the early hours - 3 and 4 am. Be warned it can be noisy at times but this is a problem in cities all over the world.
