  Bedroom was modern, fresh, clean and warm with good lighting. Bathroom was also clean and well light.

  Poor attendance of the bar by the bar staff. Poor choice of snacks available at the bar.

  "I booked the romantic package which was great value. The champagne and strawberries and room service breakfast were a nice little touch. Just be aware that the rooms in the middle of the hotel are much smaller than those on the outside." (107302328)

  Lovely room with a beautiful little terrace. Excellent shower. Good breakfast. Perfect location for exploring. All facilities modern and clean!

  Great location, easy to find. Nice comfortable sized room with pleasing deco, good bed, great shower.

  The door to the toilet is glass which does not allow for private use of the toilet. This may not be a problem for everyone, however, for some it can be extremely embarassing. We fall into the latter catagory. It is just not acceptable that one person has to leave the room completely to allow the privacy the other person needs to do what comes naturally. we asked to change rooms. First we we told all the bathrooms were the same (They are not!!-there are two on each floor with properly enclosed bathrooms), then we were told that all the rooms were booked, and then, finally, that if we paid 20euros more, we could move. We did move- the next day to another hotel for the remaining 5 days of our stay.

  "Hotel is located in a ideal location, 2 min walk from las rambla, near resturants (atic is a nice place to eat) and also all the shops. Hotel rooms was a very nice standard, and well presented (make sure your room is not next to the lifts), and the bathroom was very nice. Staff were wonderful, they were very helpful with providing us with information on Barcelona, and were always friendly." (97917012)

  The staff were really nice and very very helpful, plus hotel location was excellent, just 2 min walk to las rambla, rooms were decorated to nice standard, and the shower was wonderful.

  My room was next to the lift, so was woken up most mornings by the nosie of the lift. Also building next door to hotel had building works, which I was not told about, even though I spoke to a member of staff 2 days before I arrived.

  "The hotel was very well placed a few minutes from Placa de Catalunya which is the city centre. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and spoke good English. Our first allocated room was very small but we asked to be moved and were given a larger double room at the front of the hotel which was fine. The aircon didn't work very efficiently in the room which could be a problem in very hot weather. Otherwise the hotel was very satisfactory. We did not have breakfast included but there were many eating places very nearby which were good and cheap. The hotel breakfast seemed expensive." (99540930)

  The hotel position was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and obliging.

  The first room we had allocated was very small indeed with no outlook, and was quite claustrophobic.
