    propreté,gentillesse du personnel à l'accueil;excellent emplacement centre vieux Madrid,près dela place Mayor.

    mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

    The staff was very nice. The hotel is very well located, near the main atractions of the city and of the metro station. There is an internet point easily acessible, and not expensive, at the hotel.

    You have to pay for the air conditioner, and it is almost impossible to sleep without it because of the noise from the street.

    hôtel très bien situé, proche de la plaza mayor et dans une rue assez calme, pas trop bruyant, chambre petite mais très propre et très bien aménagée.

    pas vraiment de points négatifs, certaines personnes de l'accueil sont moins agréables que d'autres mais pas très important.

    Very communicative, nice staff.

    One day I found the ashes in the sink and the room had a bad smell. I think that the housemaid smoked while cleaning the room. Also the air-conditioner didn't work.

    "On the positive side, the hostel's location is excellent and is very close to all amenities and the Metro. However, the room was too small, and the walls were missing paint. Although the hostel wasn't noisy, the walls were so thin that all sounds could be heard no matter how low they were. " (108493360)

    The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean. The hotel is very near to Plaza Major and five minutes to the Sol Metro.

    I did not use the air conditioning because, at six euros a night, I felt this was too expensive. The room was unbearably hot. There were occasional difficulties in opening the outside door to enter the hotel.

    Perfect central location, very clean safe and secure place to stay. Could not fault the place. Madrid is too great to stay in your room for long.

    Cant think of any accept when booking in as I had had my passport and money stolen on route to hotel from airport whilst riding on the metro. So not hotels fault, but be warned it did make it slightly difficult as the hotel need it to check you in. Phone call from home and the hotel soon got it sorted for me.

    Los chicos de la recepción son muy amables, está limpio y es silencioso además de encontrarse muy céntrico. Excelente colchón.

    Te avisan en la reserva así como al llegar de que hay que pagar por usar el airea condicionado, me parece una buena iniciativa para no malgastar energía pero 6€ me parece demasiado.

    safety and security at the hotel very good indeed felt looked after as a solo female traveller very friendly and helpful staff very clean rooms 24 hour reception was something I liked, with an early flight to catch

    some of the communal areas of the hotel are a little worn and could do with updating but not really an issue

    Buena localización,limpieza,amabilidad del personal, buena información, buena gestión de reserva

    ruidoso de noche a causa de otros inquilinos. El aire acondicionado hay que pagarlo(6 €/día). El baño de mi habitación (315 - individual) era chiquitísimo y al usar el lavabo caía el agua por fuera, television con imagen deficiente

    "I stayed in this hotel last year and really enjoyed it, but upon returning, I think that they have raised their prices so much that the cost is not worth what you are getting. You could find a much nicer hotel for almost the same price." (107916082)

    The hotel is located on a street right off of Plaza Mayor. The staff are friendly and helpful overall and can speak English very well.

    The Double Room-Matromonial was so small that we could barely fit our two suitcases and still walk around the room. The bathroom was smaller than my closet. When we asked about a larger room, they allowed us to change, but were not very polite about it.

    The Hotel is easy to find and located in the very center of Madrid. Lots of Bars and Restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. The next Metro-Station is about 3 Minutes away, allowing you to go virtually anywhere in Madrid easily.

    The biggest advantage, the location, is also the biggest disadvantage: you hear people that are having a great time (and even more drinks) all night long ... Unfortunately, you have to pay six Euro per night if you want to use the AC. That´s simply inadequate in such a hot place!

    When I checked in even at mid night, the stuff welcomed me. I think that the hostal is worth staying at the mid-city area.

    My room was small. I would like the hostal to provide a bigger room.

    Une mauvaise isolation phonique et une salle de bain exiguë.
