  "The bathroom facilities were roomy and functional. The water supply was excellent and the shower worked fine." (108112803)

  We were allowed to check in upon arrival -- before 10 a.m.! This gave us the opportunity to refresh ourselves and begin our sightseeing right away. The location of the hotel is excellent for first visitors who plan to walk and use public transit. It is also close to most major tourist sites and lots of good places to eat.

  Staff at the desk were not very friendly or helpful. They did not offer to help us locate the site where we could pick up our Seville Card, and they tried to charge us for a breakfast we had not eaten (we were on a bus to Ronda at the time). When we protested that the signature on the bill was not ours, the charge was removed.

  "Sevilla was a highlight of our trip, in large part due to our stay at the Dona Maria. The Hotel is a lovely building, full of windows, old paintings, arches and antiques. The staff are friendly, patient and helped us with our luggage. They also recommended a place to enjoy Flamenco dancing and made our reservations. The location couldn't be better, right in the Girlada Cathedral square, horse and carraiges await outside, cafes and tapas bars, and Real Alcazar is a one minute walk. Plus the rooftop pool and bar is wonderful, a perfect place to unwind with a glass of vino-tinto and enjoy the changing light of Seville at sunset while the Cathedral lights up. I also highly recommend the little Moorish looking Tapas place around the corner to the left, Giralda Restaurant, I think... excellent food, we went back three times." (97018641)

  The Hotel is beautiful, welcoming and the location is priceless.

  "Perhaps customers should be asked if they require a quiet room. Although not too bad, the hotel was busy with maintenance starting early morning, and being underneath the roof terrace on the 3rd floor meant we had to endure scraping chairs/tables and footsteps - very noisy and irritating."   Well appointed rooms with full facilities. Fantastic location. Friendly staff.

  "I would have liked the prices to include VAT. The hotel was good value & very comfortable. The staff were helpful & courteous.They were very good with advice on things to see & directions." (99808006)

  Very central position,nr the cathedral.Staff v.helpful.Comfortable.

  Noisy 1st floor room until I changed.

  "Very enjoyable stay. It would be helpful to know what types of room availablee ex. interior view, view of street, on what level." (99341276)

  Wonderful location close to cathedral. An interesting old building. Lovely side view of cathedral from our room. Very interesting Spanish/Andulacian decoration. Pleasant helpful staff who spoke good English. Daily newspapers including Herald Tribune and Guardian available in lounge. A wonderful roof terrace with a little swimming pool and a bar on the roof. This was the perfect place to watch the sun set behind the Giralda.

  Some street noises, bin lorries and traffic. On request staff showed us a room which with interior view but we stayed in original room as it was very nice. Would have liked a box of tissues in bathroom. The few supplied not adequate for four night stay.
