  "The hotel was in a lovely location and was very clean however, the price for what we used was not good value and the problems with credit cards marred my stay." (97400557)

  Friendly staff and very clean. Also, facilities were excellent and condition of hotel is lovely.

  Room was a LOT smaller than depicted in website pictures which I found very disappointing. The room, while clean was small and 'pokey'. I had a problem when trying to pay in that both my credit cards where denied. Despite calling my bank and being assured the problem was with the transaction carried out by the hotel and not the card itself the night porter refused to acknowledge this and I had to pay with alternative funds at my own expense. It should not be advertised that credit cards are accepted when they are not or there are problems which staff refused to acknowldge.
