  "Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay around the hotel with excellent food and very caring and most helpful staff and a wonderful area to stay. We where part of a larger group staying at the hotel so we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would almost certainly return again when in that area." (97263297)

  Staff were very helpful sometimes the language barrier at certain times of day meant you had to await for another member of staff to come on a shift to answer a question, but where always pleasant about this and very apologetic, the food was excellent every morning afternoon and evening and plentyful even when some of our friends returned late from racing. Staff at all times even down to the maid where very curtious and helpful when ever we had a small problem. The bar staff where excellent to The pool was very clean, and towels available for a small fee. But a beautiful hotel set in picturesque surroundings. We would all definately visit there again when ever in Northern Spain and is also very good value for money,

  Sometimes on main reception not always enough staff to cope with arrivals, when ever telephone booking came in, so quite often had to wait for member of staff who could understand english to help, but where always apologetic and always helpful. The problem with flys possibly due to the rural surroundings in room and around public places ie bar and even in the resturant at times possibly needed more fly netting or fly zapper units. It was for us along way to travel as we had to travel from Alicaniz 45 kilometres away so this made our journey to and from the hotel quite a trek, but was worth it for the calming surroundings. There was only one taxi service available in the area of hotel so it was very much in demand, as would liked to have explored the area more. But the service with the taxi was excellent and personal I wish them good luck with the business but they may need another car available.

  "Beautiful place, architecturally and asthetically." (97801292)

  Beautiful setting and lovely people. All the staff were incredibly helpful, with places to visit and with a mixture of Spanish, Catalan and English, we all got along.

  There were no bad points.

  "Probably would not have booked the hotel if we had known there were many children staying. We did find that late of a night the parents of the children did not seem to be particularly concerned with the noise they were making in the hallways which echoed around the building." (97298199)

  Clean rooms, helpful staff, nice area

  lack of toilet roll replacement
