    "Great time, Madrid is beautifull and everywhere is within walking distance. WATCH your wallet/purse on the metro and at the Prado, a gypsy tryed to steal my wallet on the metro, I caught her and ****** her straight off the train,,,, ah well, that can happen anywhere, but be carefull and act aware, don't act like a lost tourist.I was at the time.     Location is excellant, very central and easy to find. The desk staff are very helpfull, pleasant and speak good english. Rooms cleaned every day, towells etc and no problem leaving bags after checkout. Lots of wee cafes besdide the hotel for breakfast or a late snack. The cafe next door was good craic with no problem getting coffees and food out to carry up to the room. No english though but understand,,, ir a hotel,,, perfectly........Would definately use again.Good value, cheap hotel, central, great staff, free internet, drinks machine,lift ,,

    Well, don't expect luxury, this is a cheap hotel and the rooms need painted badly, otherwise great value. The staff said that Domus, the parant group, keep telling them pintura manana, but there was a painter, one,, painting the stairs when we left???????

    UNA UBICACION EXCELENTE, TIENE ACCESO A INTERNET, ESTA MUY LIMPIO,UNA ATENCION DE PRIMERA.

    "Outside the hotel is an excellent restaurant/cafe where we were able to sit out in the evenings. This could get a little noisy when the clientelle joined in the singing later in the evening, but its location more than made up for this. In general if you were looking for a reasonably cheap hotel in downtown Madrid- this one filled the bill!" (99403562)

    Those manning the reception were always keen to help and spoke good English if required

    The hotel has notices saying it is due for refurbishment, and in some areas was a little tatty which should soon be rectified.
