  "Great location, very happy with the hotel as a low cost option, would suggest eating out as there are plenty of choices" (108124600)

  Santillana del Mar is a great place to stay, this hotel is in a good position with free easy parking, the staff are excellent and the rooms very comfortable, but basic - we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotels

  The Hotel food is basic and cheap, mainly catered for coach type party food - but don't let that put you off the hotel as it's really good.

  "Adequate for a one-night stop; breakfast though was barely adequate. The town of Santillana however is itself well-worth a visit, even without the additional attraction of Altamira, but we would stay elsewhere." (108337259)

  Easy to find, convenient roadside location, parking facilities, friendly welcome.

  Breakfast: cheap with bread ham & cheese, but also unappetising prepackaged stuff with (e.g.) what tasted like artificial orange juice, 'jam' full of E numbers...... in stark contrast to another 2 Star hotel we'd recently stayed at.

  Localisation, accueil, confort

  Un peu cher. Qualité des produits servis au petit déjeuner (pain médiocre, jambon amylacé, même chose tous les jours etc.)

  "Clean, comfortably and friendly. Very pretty hotel" (97467954)

  Excellent location for old village and also good parking facilities. Easy access to all routes.

  Windows on ground floor bedrooms left open after cleaning, poor security.

  "Lovely little hotel and very nice, helpful staff. We liked it very much. " (97112818)

  Very friendly & helpful staff. Very clean. Well positioned for the old town, cafes & bars, tourist attractions (Caves, museum) We were able to walk everywhere.

  The close proximity of the police station (almost opposite) meant that our car keys did not always work. Something to do with a radar device to prevent the remote detonation of explosive devices! Not the hotel's fault though, and they were quick to explain the reason, preventing a garage bill. I would also suggest that this "problem" does at least make this hotel a safe place to stay!!!

  Clean and well presented and we were greated with a smile!

  We would have appreciated access to a cup of tea/coffee on arrival or made available in the room.

  "Regular users of this hotel for reasons stated above but do not expect the Ritz. It's a simple, relatively small but comfortable overnight stop. Lack of an onsite bar and restaurant may be a problem to those with mobility problems." (97512054)

  Good position in relation to the town, for restaurants and bars, and road access from autovia. Relatively quiet location and onsite parking. Friendly efficient staff.
