  "The immediate area surrounding the hotel is filthy, unsafe, and generally unpleasant for tourists (prostitutes, beggers, drunks, dogs) - and this is nowhere to be read ahead of time. Finding the hotel is also very hard - Athens has many one way streets and nothing is labeled, so a map is almost useless. However, the hotel is walking distance to the Acropolis, and to the Metro (the subway system), so moving throughout the city is relatively easy. There is a public valet garage for 13 EUR/day near by, but no discount for hotel guests. General conclusion, the hotel is not SO bad, but combined with the bad neighbourhood, it is not recommended. The only positive with this hotel is the very low price per night. Definitelly not for families with" (97513143)

  Close proximity to main Athens attractions.

  Small, squeeky elevators - glass ceiling fell on me, cut my hand. Poor breakfast - buffet style, however no food after 9:15 am although breakfast is 8-10 am. Unfriendly staff (exception are the receptionists). 3 euro/hour for wireless internet. No parking, even to do luggage drop-off.

  All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

  Hotel in a very run down area of athens, did not feel safe leaving hotel on your own.
