  We loved being picked up at the airport but were confused because out last trip back to the airport we had to pay. This needs to be made clear. Either the hotel collects you at the airport and takes you back there or there is a charge. We loved the Greek Dancing and entertainment. Large area to walk about. Nice sea view. Friendly staff.

  No clear policy as to when the hotel will collecting and taking you to and from the airport. No free access to the thalasso facility, an hour session would be nice. Dinner, on the Saturday night we stayed,there were no free tables, it was not a relaxing experience, there were no quiet spaces where one could sit. When waiting for a later flight it would be nice to have the room a bit longer.

  Overall staff very friendly and helpful

  Bunglow, was clean and tidy but could do with an update and revamp... everything looks very old and tired. Warnings should be given on taxi drivers whom charge over 28 euros from the airport, even though is it only 18 km

  Hotel very nice, surrounding area not too good unless you have a car. Drinks are very expensive, so the shop over the road does a lot of business, I would suggest they bring the price down. Almost double to what it would cost in a shop.

  the food was not very good, breakfast was cold and the choice for an evening meal was only the buffet and again cold. Need a restaurant you can order what you ould like.

  everything was excelllent in our stay. the people working there are so helpful,kind and they all have sense of humor which is really good.its the best hotel ever. its a paradise!!!!!!!!!

  "Our stay was enjoyable and we will return. However , the pre-arranged hotel shuttle from the airport did not arrive. We had to telephone to find out what the delay was. This made it a much later night than we wanted." (97179747)

  The facilities and good access to the airport

  The central heating remained on despite high temperatures which made it uncomfortable for sleeping at night.

  "Exceptional site and enjoyable hotel in a calm part on the outskirts of Patras close to the main highways, right on the waterfront. A bit tricky to find: coming from Athens, turn to the right before the Toyota dealer and right again after crossing the railway lines. Then watch for the sign on the right side of the road."   The seaside view and the calm. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was plentiful. The internet connection was free, but became slow in the evening.

  The bathroom door handle fell off. It was impossible to close the bath room door. The bathroom ventilator was far too noisy.

  "This hotel was very convenient for us to get to the airport. We didn't know it was so nice as we would have arrived earlier in the day. The rooms were adequate. I would have liked it if they had provided body lotions along with just shampoo and cream rinse. We only had soap that was also shampoo. All in all it was good for the last night of our 2 wonderful weeks in beautiful Greece." (97710673)

  "A small point: I couldn't find any Kleenex in the room or bathroom, and as I had the onset of a cold, this was a (minor) inconvenience." (97661584)

  "After having spent a week in Greece we wanted a hotel in Athens close to the airport--due to an early morning flight--but in a tranquil setting away from the noise and the congestion of airport. The Mare Nostrum fulfilled both requirements. The online directions we were given were a little sketchy--especially as it was dark when we were driving--but once we arrived it was very nice. I only wish that we had given ourselves a little more time to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings." (99314854)

  We got in just after dark after a long day of traveling and the staff was very pleasant, helpful, and accomodating.

  The room we were given had been recently painted and the paint smell was still fairly strong. However, when this was brought to the attention of the hotel staff, they quickly found us another room. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, but certainly adequate.
