"The booking was quite expensive and there should have been arrangements for the first breakfast. [we did get breakfast the second morning]. I could have asked for the 'Complaints Book' had I been 'refused' a refund for the first breakfast, but the pointof the visit was a special trip for my sister in law, but we just accepted that we wouldn't be staying there again. I did feel the owner was aware of the situation however as she was very pleasant the second morning." (107306366)
Clearly the hotel had been recently renovated and was very clean
The towels were not changed, but no big deal as we only stayed two nights. We had paid for breakfast included but the first night there was a mega party which went on until the wee small hours...Very noisy with people staggering around and shouting, banging doors, etc until 4 am at least. The result in the morning was that my wife and her sister and I were stood waiting for breakfast at 9.10 am with not a sound in the building. Consequently we had to go and pay for breakfast in a local cafe. I mentioned this later that evening but there was no response or refund.
