    Very convinient for Keflavik airport. Shuttle transport available. Wide range of accommodation - camping, guesthouse, wood cabins. Our cabin had the usual facilities plus lounge area and basic cooking facilities, with parking directly outside.

    View from cabins was to other cabins or motel wall, but that doesn't realy matter for an overnight stop, though may be a downside for longer stays.

    - very comfortable and warm - very well equipped - no aircraft noises

    - impossible to stop the heating system of chalet n°5 - the chalet was dirty (hair in the shower, dust balls near the bed, dishes were stained) - bed is not giant people..

    I was glad we were able to recycle plastic bottles while we were there.

    I thought the breakfast was a little lacking. For the price I paid for the room (which was high to begin with), I think there could have been more variety of foods. There was processed cheese, yogurt, bread and cereal. I would have liked to have fresh fruit.

    The cottage was good and it was verry quite. All we needed for one night was available. The breakfast was sufficient.

    The person at the reception was not polite. A smile and a 'thank you' make a great difference. In the cottage, the floor was dirty, especially under the bed. The towels didn't smell verry good.

    Rooms was of adequate size. Location close to the airport was convenient.

    We booked a family room (number 31) for 4. When we got there we found empty PET bottles, hairgrips, sweet packets and dustballs under the beds. The room had obviously not been cleaned properly. The bedding and pillow for the bed-sofa was stuffed behind the bed-sofa lying on the uncleaned floor, the clean covers stuffed into a plastic bag unfolded. At breakfast the coffee had run out. We asked for more but the coffee in the replacement thermos flask was already lukewarm. I rated the overall value for money as poor but this is a general observation about practically all accomodation in Iceland.

    The receptionist was very nice and informative about the area. Motel very close to airport but yet very quiet and close to attrations that the Reykjanes peninsula offers. Breakfast opens at 4.30am which is extremely good for travellers departing early. Cabin rooms very very nice and different than the usual hotels located in towns and cities.The motel also offers free transport to the airport for those guests who ask for this service.

    The cabin was rather warm and we could not adjust the temperature otherwise everthing was excellent.

    Inexpensive and convenient. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was quaint, with one double bed, two singles, and a single loft bed over the double. Everything worked in the tiny kitchen. The airport was minutes away.

    It would have been nice to have cross-ventilation, but only one window in the main room opened, and there was one tiny (20 by 20 cm) ventilation window in the bathroom. There was a ceiling fan, however, which helped.

    "OK for an overnight either to or from Keflavik airport. Any longer than one night and you'd probably seriously consider suicide. If you're returning a car, allow plenty of time---the Budget staff at the airport move at the speed of molasses." (107510949)

    Handy for Keflavik airport. Literally 2 minutes away in a car. Accommodation clean. Simple breakfast (laid out) from 4.30am

    Accommodation resembles garden sheds. Setting extremely bleak, cold and windy. No milk in the machine for a 4.45 am breakfast, so couldn't have cereal. Nasty spread instead of butter for toast. Coffee from a flask was truly vile.

    Basic, affordable accomodation, a stones throw from the airport and near The Blue Lagoon (by car).

    Rooms are fairly basic.

    Nähe zum Flughafen, sehr sauber, in jedem Fall zu empfehlen.

    Leider war unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Durch die dünnen Decken und Holzdielen, waren alle Bewegungen im 2.Stock sehr laut zu hören,da 24h-Checkin besteht, reisen nachts immer wieder Leute an und ab. Daher in jedem Fall Ohropax mitnehmen.

    Excellent combination price/accomodation Very nice to have breakfast from 4am, for early travellers

    staying in a wooden Cabin: some of the windows were hard to close. The temperature of the heating could not being regulated

    Close to the airport.

    The cottage was not very well cleaned and there was almost no warm water, it was running very slowly.
