    Buena relación calidad precio, y desayuno bastante completo. La habitación muy simple, pero correcta.

    The hotel was very clean and the service was good. The breakfast buffet was great, and the location was unbeatable.

    The room I stayed in had two single beds; I would have preferred a double bed.

    Very good breakfast

    Had to call owner to check in, which is not easy when you don't know the phone system or have the right change, then waited almost an hour before he showed up. No double bed only 2 singles.

    extérieur et entrée peu engagents il faut téléphoner pour avoir quelqu'un à l'accueil.

    Breakfast ok

    Head manager was very unhelpful and unfriendly. Television did not work. Could not open the window, so it was very hot in the room when the sun was shining.

    Close to city center, large, clean, well-furbished rooms

    Outside of the building and the direct environment is not attractive. Airport shuttle bus does not stop at this hotel, but 200m away. Guesthouse is on third floor, no elevator present.

    description of 2x 2 bed studio apt. fell far short of the rooms actually given to us. i would describe this place as an hostel and not a guesthouse as this gives off a very bad impression of expectation.

    We requested a double bed with shared facilities. The first time they put us in a different building which was like a small apartment. It had 3 rooms and a central kitchen. This was nicer than we expected and very good value for the money. Our second stay with them we stayed in the main building which was your typical small hostel room with a tv but no kitchen. Breakfast was always included. The hostel is in easy walking distance to the city centre, plus the walk to the city is along streets with many restraunts and shops.

    No phone in the room. No central place to hang out with other guest, unless you catch them while they are eating breakfast.

    The noise from the shared bathroom next door was terrible.     all the staff are so nice and cooperative, and hotel is so organized that i am really impressed. Not only hotel all the tours are so organized, that i have to say Iceland is equally organised like switzerland.

    Was checked in by a pleasant young man who answered most of my questions. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of coffee/tea & toast available. Jug kettle in room was handy for an afternoon tea and biscuit.

    Although I requested a quiet room, there is at front, building work currently undergoing over the road and windows are not double glazed. So expect some noise. Horizontal blinds did not fully close one side & curtain not easiest to position to darken room from exterior bright light during night. Only the Christian channel was watchable on the TV.

    "There was no one upon arrival (at 19 pm, a normal time, I would guess), a note mentioned a cell phone number, that could not be reached from my cell phone. I had to go to a different hotel to call the person in charge, who promised that he would be there in a quarter of an hour but did not show up. Afeter all, when I was about to leave, he came (plm 20 min late), and let me into the room, where it seemed there had been someone heavily smoking. There was only one towel, and no new towel in 4 days." (97024674)

    the room looked clean, but the smell was terrible

    The room was noisy and stunk immensely, there were no net curtains althought the room was in immediate sight of a building excavation and the workers could simply see everything that happened inside the room

    "Quiet place at just a few blocks from the start of Rekjavik's main shopping streets. Friendly staff. Immediate neighborhood pretty bleak (but then so is most of the city!)" (99318705)

    Clean warm modern room, and good breakfast buffet.

    Construction across street made view outside window an eyesore. One shower has design causing scalding burns if you turn on hot first!

    Very small room - barely room to walk around twin beds. Some rooms are on the fire escape routes from the building and have room keys kept outside the doors - therefore anyone can access these rooms

    Great location with a high standard considering the budget price, really helpful staff and excellent value for money.

    Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis - would have at least liked the bin to be emptied.
