The apartment has an excellent location in the centre of Reykjavik, short distance to bookshops, museums, cafes and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The interior was very nice and equipped with everything I needed, even though it was not mentioned in the description.
In the apartment I stayed in I could hear some street noise during the weekend, but that is only to be expected in such location. Apartments K have other more quiet locations, but I liked this one.

"This place is incredible! They have done a fabulous job on the decor and I'm an Interior Designer. I could not have found a better location. Loved the little Grey Cat next door for breakfast too! The staff were very nice and friendly and I will definitely book with Apartment K on my next return!!" (108107100)
The owners and staff were extremely friendly, the location is superb, the space is quite lovely and decorated fabulously! Loved that they had free internet and apple friendly!
The only thing I can think of is that it took me a while to figure out to work the espresso machine... haha!

Excellent location well furnished and maintained and everything was clean
needed a good dusting, no expresso machine, slippers or robe as per the description on the site - just a coffee machine. unable to use television as no written instructions, i was shown how to use the movies but could not rember how to access the television, there should be written instructions.

Excellent central location and very friendly upon arrival. Would highly recommend to anybody considering a few nights in Reykjavik.
Furniture was very modern, and looked very good. However the one night we decided to sit down and watch a movie..I have to say that it is very uncomfortable to sit on these sofa's and chairs.. Unfortunately a case of looks over comfort!!

heated bathroom floor. lots of space. great location.
advertised sauna was just a shower. bed was two singles pushed together. wireless internet didn't work.

"We had an excellent time, loved Reykjavik, a really cool city with a great vibe. We took a trip to the Blue Lagoon, Gulfoss waterfall and the Geysirs which I would highly recommend - truly breathtaking. The nightlife must be experienced too, the city really comes alive at midnight with a great atmosphere!!" (107970429)
Everything was amazing - the size of the apartment, the facilities, funky furniture and the location were all perfect. I couldn't fault a thing!

This is a beautiful apartment, the owner has worked closely with a designer to decorate and furnish the place with stylish, state of the art kit. The owner is courteous and helpful - I have seen some reviews quering the location of some of the "Apartment K" properties, so I rang ahead and asked. The owner offered to pick us up from Reykjavic bus station - how's that for personal service?
The "hairdresser" downstairs held a party on our first night with thumping music 'till 3 in the morning. Luckily it was only one night and we were so shattered we slept through it.

Excellent Apartment - loads of space and really well equipped. Very central in Reykjavik, but quiet and not near the noisy bit of town!! Lots of good restuarants and shopping on the doorstep and two reasonable supermarkets within 100 metres.
There is more than one Apartment K location in Reykjavik - we turned up at the address on the booking confirmation only to find it was the wrong one!! We had to telephone the owner who came round and drove us to the correct address. Not a great issue, but it might have been if the owner hadn't been in!! They could streamline the check in process.

The staff was wonderful. It was our wedding day and they made sure to put flowers in our room for us after we left for the ceremony. It was incredible. The bed was comfortable and they had a nice selection of new movies to watch.
The shower didn't work properly and would not close properly either. Also, the jacuzzi would not warm up. We tried for over an hour in pretty cold water to even see a slight rise in the temp, but nothing would happen.

Huge appartment with designer furniture. Beautiful design and very well done. Kathy and Jokull were also very kind and helpful. Last but not least excellent location.

Excellent apartment; safe, clean, very modern decor - had everything we needed. All sights, shops etc were very accessible (within walking distance). Made the holiday very relaxing

Well utilised and thought out space in small area.
Strange smell in apartment, not disimilar to a chicken shed enhanced by chicken furnishings and paraphanalia. Referred to by owner as "the budget" apartment but not "budget" compared with other hotels booked for remainder of holiday.

Lovely decor, very well fitted apartment (all very IKEA). Very friendly reception. Hot tub and internet access a real bonus!
Apartment booked online was not the one which we stayed in. The apartment we stayed in was actually cheaper that the one we had booked but we did not get any discount. Apartment was very roomy apart from bedroom which was quite small with double bed right up against the wall.

"If you can get over your fear of one of the hundreds of wooden disks that are glued or screwed to the ceiling falling on your head, this is the place to stay on your visit to Reykjavik. The price is outstanding, easily comparable to surrounding hostels and the family that runs the operation upstairs is warm and welcoming. Check this place out." (108724434)
Apartment style was outstanding, if looking for a weekend home this is it. The mac mini is a great idea, would be made better if there was a "want list" that guest could recommend music or movies. Heated floors a nice surprise. Location can't be beat. The Hot tub in the Bergstadastraeti location was also nice.
No sign for the Apartment K location we stayed at, had to ask directions. The fact that the hotel is actually the old guard house for the prison located next door is either real badass or real scary depending on how much you trust it's security.
