  "hotel was very nice. They served us breakfast at 4:45am as we had an early flight. Normal breakfast time is from 7am. We were extremely pleased by this and also that the breakfast (while basic) was good." (108955011)

  Easy to change the booking. Multiple booking (several different types of rooms) was easy.

  Günstiges Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. 3-Sterne-Standard. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

  Laute Umgebung (Strassenverkehr). Im Gewerbegebiet. Sehr viele Sportvereine steigen dort ab.

  First we had one room where the previous guest was smoking. Hotel management provide two (fresh smelling) rooms instead :-)

  "We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfectly located for us and it represented good value for money as Iceland can be quite expensive." (107798860)

  Clean, comfortable well furnished rooms. Good continental breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. Good value with easy access to Reykjavik by own car or taxi.

  Rooms could be quite stuffy as no air conditioning and no windows (other than a vent) to open. No black out curtains so room fairly light most of the night. Hot water extremely hot as from geothermal source so care needed with shower mixer to avoid burning oneself accidentally.

  The room is very small. The table is largely occupied by the TV, so that it is almost impossible to work at that table.

  "Although this hotel appears not to have children stay on a regular basis, the staff were very enthusiastic about our child. The rooms seemed to be soundproof, so we don't think we disturbed other guests with the baby's crying. The rooms are comfortable, and there are light-blocking curtains to permit sleeping during summer solstice. Although the hotel is next to a highway, the traffic was not unduly noisy. While there is some distance to downtown Reykjavik, the city bus system was easy to use, and we also were able to see the towns around Reykjavik. There are a large shopping mall, a grocery store, and numerous restaurants within walking distance." (107309210)

  Staff were accommodating at letting us check in early, made stress-free the process of booking tour/retour tickets on the airport shuttle, served an excellent breakfast, and were always pleasant and polite. They worked with the baby bed until it was set up correctly.

  The daily maid service was inconsistent. We were issued only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels for 2 adults and a baby. Sometimes, when soiled towels were removed, they were not replaced.

  Staff is extremely nice, lovely looking room, nice view, clean, friendly, very close to the mall, nice area etc

  The bed was slightly hard, although my hubby liked it I'm more of a soft bed person.

  not difficult to find family rooms

  Receptionist was uninterested, unaware a reservation had been made. When asked if the bed for the children could be made up he asked if we had tried ourselves!

  "Quiet, friendly place, though out-of-the-way for downtown Reykjavik users. A hop on bus 2 will get you downtown quickly, but it is a hassle." (107114180)

  Breakfast was very good.

  Could have a refridgerator in the room. That would be helpful.
