The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent as were the evening meals, although there was a limited choice. There was plenty of hot water and good, soft towels and the central heating was put on as it was rather chilly at times.

The bed was a bit hard and, as the room we had was at the front of the hotel which directly fronts onto the A5 road, together with there being no double-glazed windows, it was rather noisy at times. There is no attached car parking, although a secure area a short distance away was provided.

Overall: Although this is a rather dated hotel it is clean and tidy and certainly has a lot of character. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.  (107804106)

Breakfast was very good.

Car park was a short walk away. Noisy area of town. (Night time revellers until early hours)

Overall: A very old but reasonably well maintained 2 star hotel. Good location for the event we attended - 5 mins by Taxi  (108525196)

Very Friendly, good breakfast

Poor quality of carpet in room, particularly did not like having carpet in the bathroom

Good location

Terrible noise, terrible decor, understaffed, poor breakfast, overpriced.

Overall: Dont stay here at all costs...unless u like woodchip,carpeted bathrooms with holes in the walls, rusty baths, smell of damp and want to be awake till 5am with traffic noise.  (107605056)
