Some pleasnt smiles from the young staff
A rather demanding style asking for payment which gave rise to my thinking that management suspected I was avoiding payment.
Overall: Entry to hotel shabby, no offer to help with bags....and at the outset "will you pay now please", before i had even seen the room (108723161)

Very friendly welcome explained about the disco/club night. Really wanted to make my stay perfect even put me in an upgrade room at top of hotel away from noise no extra charge.I willdefinately book there again as I need to go to social functions at the GP practise where I work and I live 25 miles away.
None really just a typical bar area and welcoming.

Friendly staff, ideal position in Ashby
Car parking badly signposted in town did not show that after 5 pm was free. Had to ask a traffic warden for advice and she was very helpful
Overall: Very interesting and enjoyable stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.Landlady and landlord of The Lamb Inn was very welcoming and enjoyed our visit there (107313222)
