Friendly staff, good food, pleasant surroundings - grounds etc, off-road parking, close to village, did not have long to wait at bar(unlike many British hotels where it is hit and miss whether anyone spots you.)
Overall: Loved the hotel but did not like the area - speed of traffic horrendous, which was hard to take in given it was the New Forest. (97831086)

Good location, friendly staff, generally nice and quiet.
The ensuite in the room we stayed needs a bit of a refurbishment, but still not bad
Overall: Friendly place, friendly staff. The breakfast was good, and although we didn't eat any other meals there, the menu looked good. Easy access to New Forest, cycle rental and the train station. In all a very relaxing stay with no hassles. (97524513)

Hotel very dated, in desperate need of a refurb
Overall: Very friendly atmosphere in the hotel, staff are very willing to help. Good location, everything I needed within walking distance. However hotel looking very tired, decor in room was in desperate need of an update along with the furniture. Unfortunately no internet access (97502860)

Clean, functional and comfortable, friendly staff good value for money
Slightly outdated decor
Overall: We were here for a wedding at another hotel, the room was large and clean, and functional. We weren't in the hotel much but the staff were very accommodating to our very late arrival. (99531360)
