Beautiful setting and lovely hotel.
Service in the resteraunt was excellent.
Not actually BAD - but 'could do better' A disapointing at the range of vegetarian food and the complete absence of a decent no-alcoholic drink to go with the food. I had 'phone ahead and therefore brought my own.
A ported at the reception desk would be useful.
Some of the reception staff used the 'telephone speak'

good clean room, pleasant reception
was hoping for a room in the original building,with original features, as seen on the internet.We tried to get room service twice throughout the night and there was no answer. We recently stayed in a similar room at a hotel for half the price and the same facilities,i was a little disapointed as i was wanting to surprise my partner.
Overall: Although everything was clean and the staff were very pleasant, i am still trying to work out what i was paying for,as there was nothing exceptional about our stay. (107377830)

Wedding taking place during stay and there was excessive noise / lights from disco.
Overall: A very pleasant stay only slightly spoilt by crowds and noise from the wedding. Would recommend checking for wedding bookings before visiting. (107185444)
