Breakfast was excellent with a good choice, service was quick and friendly, bar area relaxed and pleasant, nice views and sorry not to have been able to use the garden with lots of seating. Overall I enjoyed the stay.
Furnishings and bathroom facilities in room 7 were dated. As a fit person, albeit with a dodgy back, showering was awkward and I would not have liked to be a mature person who might not have enjoyed the experience of getting in and out of the bath. I understand that room 2 could have been cleaner. Felt it was a little expensive.

Beautiful, secluded location. Convenient parking. Helpful, friendly welcome. Bedroom and Resident's Lounge decor is dated tho', oddly, this seemed to add to the charm! Pleasant Reception and Bar. Tasteful Dining Room with excellent choice of well presented food. Bar meals offered as an alternative to Table d'hote or A la Carte meals. Very good breakfast. Hotel Manager, Restaurant Manager and all waitresses could not have been more obliging. Overall a lovely stopover and extremely good value for B and B @ £75 for a couple. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
Just needs a little updating in places, tho' decor did not detract from the comfort or cleanliness. Prefer not to have carpeted flooring in bathrooms!
Overall: Comfortable accommodation with good food in scenic surroundings. Excellent, attentive staff. Very good value.

Excellent food and friendly efficient staff.
Rooms need updating but management addressing this. The rooms were clean and servicable.
Overall: Good base for touring, relaxing atmosphere in beatiful countryside
