Food was excellent as were the staff.

Shower could have been a little more powerful.

Overall: The staff at the Fife Lodge Hotel were extremely helpful and willing to go that extra mile for you. We were visiting the area because my husbands mother was born in Banff and we were looking for family graves and where she used to live and the staff were happy to ring around for us to try and help. The food was excellent and the room was clean and well presented. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.  (107696351)

Comfortable stay overall

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
