Nice couple helpful when needed

Where do we start.... No shower,No hairdyer, Loft room lacking in height (im over 6 ft tall) no water pressure, very dated decor. Breakfast not that special

Overall: Nice couple let down by very dated accomadition. Would stay again if price reflected accomadition. Alot of money when compared to other local hotels.  (108811051)

Spacious, clean and comfortable

The Lounge was a little boring - more reading material in general and about locality would be welcome.

Overall: The only slight embarrassment was that I had assumed that payment had already been made online, and was therefore surprised to be asked to settle up on departure. My lack of reading, for sure, but the manager did say that this was a frequent misconception. The service, food and accommodation were truly excellent, though the price was slightly higher than experienced elsewhere - even in touristy destinations such as St Ives. Thank you.  (97657685)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
