The only possitive thing was the willingness of two members of the reception staff who eventually helped us move to a much better room after we stayed for three nights in rooms we would never recomend to anyone. In fact, we finally got the room we intially thought we reserved. The staff told us that there has been a 'mistake' with the pictures that bookings.com used for their double rooms. the rooms should have been listed as 'superior double rooms' and not merely 'double rooms'.

The fact that they did not give us from the beginning the room we reserved claiming that there was a mistake with the pictures we saw at the internet. They had us changing rooms every other night until they finally found an available 'superior' room which was what we saw at the interned listed as double room. It is important to say that for the first three nights they were saying that the superior r. were all reserved for all week. Suddenly, two nights before our check out, they discovered a room available.

Overall: One of these hotels you cannot trust as your good or bad stay only depends on how willing and capable the staff is to help you. It is unfortunately not up to the overall policy of the hotel.  (108589583)

Cleanliness of room, bathroom and public areas very good.

Room access on the ground floor room was circuitous, up one flight of stairs, along a narrow corridor and then down a second set of stairs. Air-conditioning not available in room with outside temeperature 31c and quite humid.

Overall: Friendly and attentive staff, modern room with good furnishings.  (107604864)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
