Overall: I live in the area and the guest was actually not me but a friend who was visiting and there was not enough room to accommodate everyone at my place. So my guest only really slept there. He said it was good and I would book other visitors we may have in the future.  (108763890)

Check in/out went well, was quick. Attendants were knowledgeable and helpful.

Hose for hand-held shower head was too short to connect head to the wall mount. Upholstered chair stained and dirty. Key was on a wierd looking wooden holder that was too big to carry in your pocket. Also, for some reason, it was wrapped with brown packing tape.

The room had a strong smell of tobacco smoke. It might be a good idea to change the carpet...

Quiet, comfortable room.....delicious breakfast....so close to tube station. The staff was very helpful and friendly....a most enjoyable stay.

Overall: Loved it. Very close to the tube station so traveling was a breeze.....  (107153688)

The Hotel is in need of complete refurbishment. The quality of the furnishings and fittings is very poor.

Overall: I would not stay at this hotel again and was mislead because of the price and 'four stars' The experience means I would not book a private non branded hotel online again.  (107661318)

Staff were really helpful, Breakfast excellent, room very clean and comfortable.Very good value for money. Close to the tube station, good range of restuarants/shops within walking distance.

Net curtains at windows could do with a wash!

Overall: Excellent, we will be back later in the year.  (97114043)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
