Freindly, helpfull staff that knew the aerea, just off M25 so very handy but also very quiet.

Nothing really, I specifically asked for a non smoking room & the Hotel says it was completely non smoking but I could smell a strong smell of smoke (people obviously smoking in their rooms) in my hallway, nothing in my room tho so didnt bother me.

Overall: Good, I'd stay again If I needed somewhere in the area.  (107517985)

Staff were generally friendly and helpful

The hotel had no seating area other than in the noisy bar and was certainly not conducive to meeting relatives or friends. We were very disapointed. The room itself was very small and really only suitable as a single room, not a twin-bedded room. The bath was not full-sized. All facilities in the room and en-suite were clean - can't fault them on that. Bedmaking left a lot to be desired - duvet cover was straightened but the undersheets were crumpled and never straightened during the whole stay.

Overall: Disappointed mainly because there was no lounge area  (108803215)

fantastic staff and location

Overall: hotel requires a full re-furb - starting to look drab and worn out  (108540288)

good location nice rooms bed was nice

toilet in bathroom leaked, there was wast water on the floor ..and the main room needed painting black marks up the wall near the heater , As the rooms are so close could hear other occupants flushing the toilet in early hours and shutting doors kept us a -wake started at 3am in the morning .breakfast was expencive at £8 each

Overall: over all was ok but wont use this hotel again  (108430933)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
