Good clean spacious room, with large bed. En-suite clean and with a bath! Parking available behind hotel. Good value for money.

No real bad points, perhaps they could think of more tv channels in rooms. Only 6 at present, might be worth investigating freeview?

Overall: No complaints, staff efficient and friendly, thank you.  (107606010)

Easy reservation. Enough space in room. Water heater, coffee and tea available in room. quick response for the reception reparation in room.

There are insects (in Dutch 'bedwanzen'= probably bedbugs in English)in the bed or the cupboard in room, through which I've got skin sickness, says my doctor. I couldn't use the Internet urgently because the receptionist couldn't unlock the code of the pc. Room cleaning especially the bathroom was not appropriate. My husband was very disappointed. For business-reasons he stayed very often in the nineties of last century and the beginning of this century. That's why we booked. But service really has been deteriorated.

Overall: It was acceptable but unfortunately with an unhappy end through the sickness I got there. For this money we might have had more service.  (107345804)

Rooms were a good size, recently redecorated, nice and warm and clean. Ideal location just 2 mins walk from Earls Court tube. I stayed mid week and paid £69 which I think is a real bargain for the area. Also allowed us to park car there from 2pm one day to 1pm the next for £15.

Undergoing refurb. No noise heard but bits still look a bit messy. The lift was tiny and not refurbished yet but much better than walking.

Overall: Ideal - we just wanted somewhere clean to sleep and get changed where we could leave the car. This place was perfect.  (107811672)

Friendly staff and very clean room and bathroom, with a good breakfast in a light and pleasant dining room.

The bedroom window looked onto a huge pile of rubbish - some obviously from the restoration work being carried out, but some that seemed to be normal rubbish in black bags; plus a big high patch of weeds near to the building/ bottom of the emergency escape stairs; and piles of general dirt and dust that gave the appearance the car park area had not been swept or maintained in a very long time. Also, rubbish could be seen at the front basement. This was a shame as the interior of the hotel, including our rooms, appeared very clean: it is not really desirable to look out of the window onto a dirty and unkempt scene, especially when you are paying to stay there!

Overall: All good apart from the dirty outside areas/ horrible view from the bedroom window.  (108007958)

Room capacious, clean and comfortable particularly the bed.All neceessary facilities available - tea / coffee making in-room always appreciated.Lift to the 4th floor also appreciated.

The room was fine. Made little use of the rest of the hotel - but english language capability of staff needs to improve and there needs to be a better way into / out of the car park for pedestrian access other than under a low barrier.

Overall: Little to add to the above. I count this hotel as a 'find'. At the price charged - £115 + £15 for the car park the value is questionable; I usually stay in a 3* in Chiswick for £82 per night inclusive of parking. I have negotiated a better rate with the Kenisington Court Hotel and will now be using this hotel regularly. The fact that it is closer to central London but just outside the congestion zone also significant.  (97697476)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
