We returned from the wedding after midnight only to find that our room was freezing cold because the radiator had been turned off (not by us). My wife was just about to put on the hotel dressing gown when she noticed a brown stain inside. On closer inspection it was clearly a 'skid mark' (sorry - not sure how else to describe it). As it was so late we didn't have the energy to alert a member of staff. Because we did not raise it at the time I think it would be unfair to lodge a formal complaint now. However it wasn't very pleasant!
