Overall: Was visiting to go to soccer match. Almost a straight walk from hotel to Roots Hall. Was supplied with map to get to ground. This was for a car journey, but was a nice touch. Short walk to sea front. (108256900)

Overall: It did what it said - provided bed & breakfast, but did little else to commend it. There are much cheaper B&B's in Southend and for the price I expected better service and higher quality breakfast. (108881395)
