Easy to find with directions given, great location, restaurant very good food, some background music in the restaurant would be better and the tables for two not so close together.

The sound proofing is terrible! We could hear the couple next door talking and our room the other side had an adjoining room/ door, so with the door you can hear everything through it. The room was looking out on a brick wall so quite dark which was not a problem as it was one night and the night the clocks went back!

Overall: The room we had was fine for one night, we had stayed the previous two nights in quite a plush hotel near Brighton with lovely views which cost less so price wise a bit expensive but perfectly fine. To have such a good restaurant in the hotel made a difference.  (108130667)

We were told that the reception was 24 hour but no one was on reception when we came back after a night out. It took 20 minutes before someone came to open the doors to let us in. Luckily it wasnt raining... They were evry appologetic.

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
