Service, cleanliness, peaceful, comfy, food
Overall: Stay at many hotels and this was exceptionally good! Polite staff, beautiful hotel with graceful decor, quirky furniture (very large seat in reception /bar), so fun aswell as elequant. The circular dining room was lovely with pretty lighting, marble centre pillar surrounded with bronze godesses. Must say - certainly not the usual hotel accomodation and a really pleasant surprise. Wasnt tacky yet certainly grand in a modest way. Had a swim in a lovey pool, jacuzzi and popped in the steamroom. Didnt take a swimming costume so bought one there for £12 - very reasonable! Clean facilities in the fitness area. Food - wonderful; had a lovely liver parfait starter with a lamb and dauphonise potatoes- lamb dropped off the bone and was excellently cooked. Room was comfy, digital stereo, hair straighteners aswell as hairdryer, Iron, bathroom accessories, plenty of soft towels. A little teddy greeted me on the bed which was a cute gesture and for £5 I brought him home! (I suddenly felt a big softy and didnt want to leave him behind after spending the night together! :) ) Bed was very comfy aswell as the pillows and it was quiet - no traffic to keep you awake...bliss! I would and have already recommended this hotel and will certainly stay again if working in the area. Nice place to stay as a little treat with your partner too! Really impressed and I'm a bugger to please! (108728117)

From first arrival until departure all staff encountered where very professional and also very friendly. We had family visit us at the hotel for a meal in the hotel restaurant and both the food and the service were of the highest standards in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Overall: A short stay which was made very enjoyable by the excellent staff at this fine hotel. We will be making a return visit. (108758044)
