Well cared for look of interior. Good looking building and surrounding area from road.

The building exhaust fan which was quite large (1/2 metre square outlet) was faceing our bedroom and during the night would switch on for 5 minutes then of for 2 throughout the night,it took some getting used to.Although We did book an extra night.

Overall: Would you stay again.Yes but not in a room faceing the fan exhaust(not number 7) We have a motorhome and take most of our breaks in it.  (108457024)

Excellent food, room and staff. Very impressed overall with our stay, would stay again and recommend to friends.

Only one, would have liked the bar to have stayed open longer as we fish till late and it did cut down on our social time.

Overall: Excellent! The room was lovely, bed very comfortable, good selection of bath products and plenty of tea, coffee etc in room, one of the best I have seen, and we stay in a lot of hotels. The food on offer was far more than we had expected from "pub fare", couldn't fault it. First class!  (107184264)

The room and the staff's friendliness

No unsweetened natural yogurt available for breakfast and the bread was plain and tatseless. This let down an otherwise good breakfast.

Sleeping area quiet being away from reception areas.Adequate Parking.Snacks and drinks thoughtfully supplied.Toiletries of good quality.Excellent Breakfast Bar with good blended beverages.

Layout of room quiet squashed.TV and Decoder shelves too close when examining the 3 Pot Beverage storages.(Bumped forehead)Didn't appreciate iron bedstead.Duvet was quite heavy to sleep under for the inclement.

Overall: Okay.My negative observation can be put own to experience rather than actual displeasure.  (107994591)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
